The Zagster, the zany zealot of phonky phonkeenishness is absent without a pass from the first WAGRadio Groovin' Blue of the year! Studio 'A' technical problems are the reason and they are being sorted through and through and out and out. When those rascally rat-like glitches are reined in the mighty ZigZag will, no-doubt, want us to allow him to voice the show you are about to listen to as he normally would. If head engineer K.W. can quickly work his magic - DJZZ will get his wish. As it stands, WAGRadio has made the decision (with producer/host DJZZ's input) to get the show on the air as is. Had to squeeze one last Groovin' Blue into the final four days of 2016. What a G.B. it is! From the madcap opening featuring the great Atlantic records' vocal group The Coasters singin' 'bout Coca Cola to DJZigZag trying to stuff one last shard of sound onto the end of his set. This is a hoot, a hop, a holla' and, in all its wonderfullishness, just a honied hint at what's in store for 2017!

One good thing is that WAGRadio vinyl librarian Bill Reiter and his brother-in-soul Sunny Sweet Daddy Fonk Wong had the keys to a locked Studio "B". They found the 2nd 2016 G.B. Happy Yule from WAGRadio's staffers, wacky hangers-on, underground supporters and weirdly extended relatives & pals. We've got two shows (at least) this 2016 Holiday Season for all y'all. This is the first. What we've done is gone back to our obsessive librarian Bill Reiter and his pal Sunny Sweet Daddy Fonk Wong and asked them to pick their favourite Xmas shows from the last ten years. They picked show 2009 and 2010. We added a coupla' new choons and took one or two others out. We also tightened up the original production a tad. The WAGRadio Yuletime muse is the music's history. So without adooing further here's a less talkative and more eggnogged-out DJZigZag aided by the beyond-mello ululates of brother Blu Mankuma and his soulful jellyroll.
